Branding update & OC teaser

Hello guys! Long story short, I'm currently in the planning and preparation stages to start my own business in the near future. The goal is to eventually earn a living with my creative output.

As the first part of defining my brand I'm streamlining the usernames on all my online channels. I'm retiring the "Jumpanaatta" handle. From now on I'll use these two:

- My website domain, plastius.net (or plastiusnet due to limitations)

- My own name, Atte Waenerberg (or atte_w)

All of the links are at https://linktr.ee/atte_w. I'm trying out a lot of stuff - I have plans for each but there are many that won't have content for a while. First thing will be to get the profile pics and banners under control.

plastius.net will define the brand in audiovisual terms. In addition to being a website in development it's also the name of a highly conceptual and personal multi-disciplinary art project. But more on that in the future...

As for right now! One absolutely integral part of the brand will be to bring a banger mascot character to life. So here you go, the first glimpse of my OC!

He's something else. My first job with him is to flesh out the first pile of rough sketches with paint, present them with the design notes and tell a bit about the story of how he came to be. I've been working very hard for the past week so I'll take my time, relax and get to know him.

As an aside, if you have interesting Discord servers to share then please do! I'm not too familiar with finding them. I'm especially interested in ones for music and video production. For music I prefer something smaller and more experimental, not a massive server. Animation and anything programming related would also be relevant to my interests.

This is mainly for my coding projects which is what I've been mostly focusing on lately. I don't want it to become distracting so I'll concentrate more on posting and follow only a limited number of accounts.

I'm still doing paintings and stuff but I need to find a new apartment so I can have a more livable studio. I'm currently renting a windowless basement workshop - it's a good size but not suitable for long working periods. I've actually been studying how to start a business so I can start selling my works but it needs to be done sustainably.

I have more social media plans for this year, let's see how things develop.

I think I'll be using Newgrounds as my primary platform for now so I've bought supporter perks for a year. Woohoo!

I'm glad that my first post was so well received! I'm going to post pixel art for some time since that's been the majority of my output for the past few years. But I'm very versatile so there will be all kinds of material coming. Wait for it!!
